The hotel has its ups and downs. While the rooms felt like they hadn't received any updates since the '80s or '90s and the music was unbearably loud, my overall experience exceeded my expectations, and the place was definitely more modern than before.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had an outdated feel to them and the loud music was a downside. However, the overall modernization compared to previous stays pleasantly surprised me.
Service

The staff, from reception to the night porter, were some of the friendliest people I've encountered in a hotel. However, there were instances of some staff members showing attitude.
Location

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was disappointing with uncleaned bathroom, used amenities, and a strange stepladder left behind. The location was convenient, but being close to the noisy nightclub was a downside.

The hotel was centrally located in the bustling town of Ennis, making it convenient for exploring the city, shopping, and dining. However, the rooms were outdated and noisy due to their proximity to a busy street, which made it challenging to get a good night's sleep. The service was a mix of friendly and rude encounters, and the dining experience had its limitations in terms of timings and quality. Despite the drawbacks, the hotel's prime location near the city center was a major plus.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms happened to be above the bar, leading to disturbance until late at night. They were also in urgent need of renovation and lacked proper heating, causing discomfort during the day.
Service

The staff demonstrated a friendly and helpful attitude, but there were instances of rudeness, particularly when requesting simple favors like leaving a jacket inside.

The hotel is located perfectly within walking distance of all that Ennis has to offer. The spacious and comfy rooms come with clean bathrooms, but they lack soundproofing. The service was initially welcoming and helpful but became less accommodating when confronted with issues. The location excels for exploring the local area, although the lack of a parking voucher system was inconvenient. The dining options were disappointing on some days. Overall, the hotel provides a mixed experience but offers good value for money.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms, while spacious and comfy, are let down by dated decor, non-functioning lights, and low shower pressure with poor soundproofing.
Service
6.0
The service started off wonderful, helpful, and polite, but encountered issues with responsiveness and the absence of managerial support.
Location
9.0
The hotel's best attribute is its perfect location within walking distance of Ennis' attractions, despite the minor inconvenience of parking fees.
Dining

The dining experience was inconsistent, with limited options on certain days, but there is a cafe below the hotel for convenience.

The service was super friendly, despite the loud streets outside, making my stay pleasant. The dining experience in the nearby pub was not ideal, with some issues in the food quality. Overall, the location is fantastic for exploring the town, and the facilities are adequate for a comfortable stay.
